In view of the constant need to increase productivity, the introduction of new technologies and the search for balance with the environment, there is a need to develop and select new varieties that are more productive, resistant to pests and diseases, and that better adapt to climatic variations that has been affecting production.

Created in 2001 in the city of Mogi Mirim (SP), Explante develops works in this line to meet a growing demand for high quality seedlings, mainly in phytosanitary aspects and in the multiplication of plants with difficult vegetative propagation..

With investments in the area of ​​research and development of new protocols, it has been working on projects to micropropagate these varieties in large scale, using techniques that enable the commercialization of in vitro seedlings, with competitive costs for the market.

Explante elaborates micropropagation projects in broad terms through three phases, all in partnership with its clients:

  1. Preliminary studies, definition of propagation protocol, volume of seedlings, deadlines and definition of commercial proposal.
  2. Elaboration of the contract, reserving to the partner the rights and intentions of the proposals for the exclusive production of seedlings.
  3. Production of uniform seedlings and volumes defined in the contract.

Our production process

All genetic materials come from Genetic Improvement companies with which we are licensed and selected by our customers. This material is introduced in the Bio Factory using the best cloning technique of each species, which guarantees the safety of the entire production chain.


Installation of materials

Selection of the best materials and cleaning of the genetic materials that guarantee a disease-free seedling for future generations.


Peaking and multiplication

Using culture media and pre-established protocols, application of hormones in each phase and procedure for the pealing of materials, with specialized labor, we obtain genetically uniform seedlings.


Bioreactor Technology

With the use of bioreactors we can multiply the materials in a smaller cycle, generate larger volume of seedlings in each phase and produce seedlings of lower cost.


Acclimatization greenhouses

The acclimatization environments of the Explante are divided for each species, according to the needs of each plant, in order to guarantee the best glue and development of the seedlings at the time of transplanting in the field.
